Vocabulary

overweight
He is overweight.

effective
Watching TV is not an effective way to learn to speak English.

I've seen similar movies before, but I've never seen a movie this good!

hardly
Do you like Coke or Pepsi?  I think they're hardly different.

muggy
The weather today is very muggy.

way to + adj.
Today is way too hot.  I can't even go outside!

mayor
The mayor of Boston is Mayor Walsh.

Grammar

might + v.
I might move to a new room, but I might not move.

rain (v.)
It might rain today.  It rained yesterday.  In Taipei, it rains every day!

Homework

Please do these things before our next meeting:

• Plan to tell me what you might do next weekend.
• Plan to talk:  What is the most effective way to learn a language?  What's ineffective?
• Make a sentence with way too + adj.
• Tell me 3 differences between Taiwan and the U.S.  Use "this + adj."

Example:
Taiwan isn't this cold in the winter.
